We're accomplished business professionals who have built successful careers but want to be closer to our passions for the next decade.

Explorers Capital & Commerce was born during a sunrise-to-sunset trek in search of a small alpine lake. By sunset, we decided that there was a place for something new. We realized that there are niche businesses with significant potential for growth. Many of these great companies have owners looking for liquidity and a transition out of day-to-day operations, entrepreneurs looking for additional resources to grow the business or non-management shareholders looking to divest. However, traditional venture capital and parent company options are often not the best way to preserve what has made these companies great.

Explorers Capital & Commerce is dedicated to preserving and building great businesses, great products and great places to work. We're long-term investors and managers. We are not out to restructure the company for quick resale. We're in it for the right reason.
